The Bonkurasu Brigade

THIS IS A CRAZILY BIASED NITRO+ FANGIRL REVIEW. Rly.

(i.e. Written by a girl who is GAR yuri for Ignis. You have been warned.)

Hai. I shall try to give a clearheaded and impartial review, so go on! XD

Ignis gets the most figures (not counting trading figures/kits) made out of all the other Nitro+ characters. From the game Jingai Makyou, and possibly the only non-loli Nitro+ female chara I like, Ignis, with all her butterfly/bat motifs and large…ahoge is Niθ design at its best (imo).

My love for her pretty much stems from Lady Ethledreda(Demonbane), who seriously needs a decent figure release. >_<

So that she can piss off Al Azif and I can be amused while they hurl majutsu at each other

But enough about Etheldreda, this is Ignis’s stage! :D

While the majority went for the MaxFac version, which gives off a motherly-type figure aura, I held out for Alter’s come-near-me-and-i’ll-slash-you-to-bits rendition. ;3 Though the mirror base thing was pretty snazzy, there was the problem of leaning too, so that tilted my favour in the direction of Alter’s version.

And the fact that Alter’s Ignis has nicer eyes. Eye rendition has a major influence on the figures I buy :3. The gradient from violet to lilac is win D:

The photoshoot location is the concrete path for bicycles near my house and is large, peaceful (since hardly anyone cycles at 11 am, they usually appear during the evening), and very breezy.(Ignis nearly fell over several times ;_;)

Uh, calm before the storm? XD No idea. I just felt that it would go well with her.

It was pretty difficult to get a nice shot of her because I’m still a noob at this. I tried lying down to get a nice shot but the sun was reflected off the LCD and I could hardly see anything ._.

But anyway, its all for the love of Ignis~! XDD

The sword is darned cool. At first I thought it was just a flat red, and not as neat as that OMFZG PWNZOR GRADATION SWORD from MaxFac, but its actually a metallic red with a subtle lightening in shade down the sword. The only gripe I have about it is that it slips out of her hand too easily. T_T

Even her shadow is beautiful T^T KANDOU SHIMASHITA. (joking, lol)

*holds hand to mouth* OHOHOHOHOHOHO.

Laughing at you, thats what shes doing.

Did I mention that I wub her boots as well? *wubs* :3

Though shiny black boots (Like those Dark Saber sports) are teh eye candy, flat matte boots surprisingly raises Ignis’s RABU METER. Okay, enough about that >.>

NU I DO NOT HAVE FOOT FETISH.

The next best part of her is that elaborate dress she wears.

Two straps that serves no purpose other than that of aestheticism (MOE > EVERYTHING IN EROGE WORLD) dangle from the hip section of her dress. Small bat motifs adorn the sides, and brings out the figure of the figure.

Eh, ignore the above. Nothing happened, nothing at all.

The butterfly motif on the edges are quite possibly what makes Ignis, Ignis. Brillant! SASUGA NITRO+ BANZAI! BANZAI!

Ignis appears, evil shadows falling on her face, and she is holding her katana threateningly.

Ignis: GET ON WITH IT.

The back of her dress is equally sugoi. You need to get one of those 360 degree revolving display turntable with flashy lights in order to fully appreciate her beauty. Eh, not.

Two small bat wings from the back of her dress. Seriously, how the heck does one fight in that? wont those wings snap and poke you when you fall on the ground?
