The Bonkurasu Brigade

The male speaks. Sorry for all you Yuki lovers.

All the previous 3 posts were dominated by the 萌え half of this blog’s owners. Now this entry shall be done by ME, the η‡ƒγˆ half.

Too bad for you guys, the above won’t be happening to you ie, having a harem of lolis on this blog.
A few weeks back the both of us had an Otoboku figurine photoshoot of the 3 bishoujos, if you consider Mizuho as a female. But Shion didn’t get much attention, so we’ll be having a re-shoot.

Then there’s the 1/8 Matou Sakura and Rider bikini versions (yes, I have the HobbyJapan one) that’s just itching to have a review. I’m considering on whether to have a review for my Max Factory Ignis, but I’ll most likely end up doing it to pair up with Alter’s for the first figure review done by the resident plum.

For the more hot-blooded crowd, I’ll be doing gunpla reviews as well, since I’ve recently been making kits such as HGUC 1/144 Gaza-C Hamaan Custom and Gaplant TR-5 Hrairoo. Ghost in the Shell fans can also await for my review on the sculpt collaboration of Vice & Alter MAJ Motoko Kusanagi that’s arriving soon.

Till then, I’m off to play Melty Blood : Act Cadenza on my PS2. Just got back not long from ‘feast up’ in celebration of my batch’s ORD, even though today’s my off duty.. *grumbles*

    its great to see gunpla stuffs. you ever gone into master grades before?

  3. sentinel011 January 29th, 2007 11:15 pm

    I’ve made all sorts of grades, and have at least made a hundred kits to date, but long lost count of the number I’ve built, both commissioned and the ones I own. My kits are all painted full colored, but most of the time I end up doing kitbash versions of them since I would come up with some idea of modding the kit into something new.

  9. kirato January 30th, 2007 11:26 am

    @ KIRATO
    Acrylics are good, especially those from Gunze Sanyo (or Mr.Color) since they are made more for gunpla and the like. Of course, art acrylics are suitable too, but you need to know the consistency of the paint/thinner ratio to get a good effect.

    As for airbrush/compressor brands, I’m not very sure since I haven’t use one properly for almost 3 years now.

    @RDrake
    Hahaha relax… some photoshoots are coming up for the next few weeks or so. Will review them ASAP I hope.
