The Bonkurasu Brigade

CSC updating and more

When all you’ve seen are the new stocks that came in are pictures from the Net, it’s about time to go down to you-know-where. No people, I’m not talking anything lewd here, rather, since this is a figurine blog (or at least, mostly), it’ll obviously be referred to the ‘place of worship’…. well, at least in terms of figurine merchandise in Singapore.

Hazel II

I’m a TTT fan. Sue me.

I went with my campmate earlier today, and sourced stuff for the hot-blooded mecha males like us. And so we found….. eva01

this.

Looks sweet right? The Soul Spec Model Evangelion-01 was too tempting to give up, but I managed to anyway. Well, at least until I get my next paycheck. It goes for SGD$75 (for the benefit of overseas readers) at its cheapest over there. Damn drool-worthy for all Evangelion fans. He bought S.O.C Mazinger-Z for SGD$55 and Minerva-X for SGD$40. Quite worth it, considering that die-cast posable collectibles are usually at least above SGD$75.
Next we headed to KKnM for lunch, after which I checked out my pre-order of my Motoko Kusanagi Figurine by Alter & Vice. Good thing that it’s arriving next week, just in time for my paycheck.

It’s just tooooooo sexxxahhhhh. Pardon my fanboy-ness.

I’ll be getting her in Solid State Society version that’s releasing on late April this year.

Other figurines that I’ve considered, one of which is A-15 Arael by Wave. Not a fan for the previous releases of the ‘Angels’, but this one was too beautiful to miss.

arael1
The transparent effect in this figurine totally rocks. Even though Arael wasn’t one of my favorite ‘Angels’ in Evangelion.

Even the box design is cool.

Seriously considering is Amaha Masane power up Ver. by Kotobukiya. I’ve already had one Witchblade 1/6 figurine (though it’s not very nice IMO), but I think they can go nicely posed together. Looped it off Hobbysearch.
WBpwrd
Hefty price tag that goes well with the scale of the figurine. Maybe I shall consider getting the non-powered up version of her as well…

I’m a half Max Watanabe fan, even before he started Max Factory. (I was a gunpla builder first, remember?) Hence, I’m more biased towards Max Factory’s line-up of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu figurines. Firstly, I like their quality. Secondly, I prefer the scale they’re made (1/8 is my preferred scale, since anything bigger would take up too much space, anything smaller will have a lack in detail).

But in any case, the following picture of (yet another) bunny suit Haruhi is gonna blow more holes into my wallet.

It even changes color upon temperature fluctuations! Nice.

    Mokoto is hot.

Oh and you might need to fix your html tags. The italics is killing the whole blog on the main site. It’s better if you guys turn off rich-formating on the editor- it’s really sucky.
