The Bonkurasu Brigade

I LOVE CIEL SEMPAI. (Its a trigger, LOL, for a certain fserve bent on spreading the love for Ciel.)

I’m a rabid Ciel fangirl. You don’t want to know how rabid. Really.

(Though you can possibly guess, its something along the lines of waving a Ciel-senpai curry pan promo banner and yelling CIEL SAMA BANZAI!!!ONEONEONE1 and trampling innocent passerbys to death. The usual ;3)

For this set of amazingly well made trading figures, I guess I’ll do a seperate post for each of them. The quality, size and attention to detail demands it.

FOR THE FIRST TIME, WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PROMO PICS IS REALLY WHAT YOU GET D:

As for the size, heres a comparison shot as to how big it really is:

Its almost as big as the (relatively small for a 1/8) Dark Saber, also by Alter.

Ciel comes with ABS ‘wings’ that can be attached to her shoes a la Nanoha, but i decided not to attach them because it’ll look weird (TONDERUUU!)

The shoot is spread over two locations, because the first (at CHIJMES) ended abruptly when Ciel’s fingers came off at the joint (gave me a hell of a scare, that did, with Ciel being my favourite of the set and all >.>), and then a re-shoot at the church just behind City Hall MRT.

I’d say that this has the most dynamic scuplt out of the rest of the set. And Ciel is in her GARGAR EXECUTIONER MODE. Wiiiiiiiiin.

The paintjob is very well done for a trading figure, though the casting isnt all that clean. But you can’t really tell from normal viewing distances anyway, so don’t nitpick ;p

The decals are very neatly appiled too, though it gives a rather plastic feel to her arms : /

But anyway, accuracy > sloppy painting. XDD
