The Bonkurasu Brigade

I went to the abovementioned performance and it seriously made me suffering from ‘music-induced weightlessness’….. in a good way of course. XD

In case you guys don’t know what I’m talking about, Caroline-san (yes, I call her -san cos she’s born in Okinawa, Japan) is the sister of Olivia Lufkin. Olivia-san, by the way, sings the OP/ED theme songs inspired by reira from Nana the anime.

Without a doubt, I <3 them both. XDD

Venue: the place’s not big at all; like approx 1/2 a lecture hall size. A table with sound mixers and a electrico thingy that does those effects.

Her style’s typically dreamy; it’s like a magical effect on you. Her voice and melody melds together with the ‘instruments’, and her pitching’s damn good. It’s like 5x nicer than whatever you’ve heard on her myspace site. My only digress was that a few parts of some of the songs had the music overpowering her voice, but her voice’s still audible. =D

They (her and a member of the Mice Parade band) did songs on her album such as Murmurs and Where’s my Love. I particularly like the last song and the encore song, Sunrise and Everylittlething (not to be mistaken from the japanese band).

I bought the single that had the last 2 songs, since I don’t have enough money to buy her album T^T but at least I got it AUTOGRAPHED!!!! XDD BUNNY EAR CAROLINE XDDD she’s so sweet. <3 I thought she looked pretty okay performing but she looked WAY BETTER up close. @____@ THE LIGHTING AT THE PERFORMANCE DIDN’T DO JUSTICE TO HER LOOKS YO.

I took a picture of the 2 but the picture looked horrid due to my lousy handphone camera. T^T

Ah well this is enough for a pre-birthday treat for myself (although it’ll been better if someone came to watch it with me so that I won’t be that shy to take photos with Caroline-san…)
