Review: Arcuied=Brunestud : Melty Blood by Alter
After some companies attempted, but failed at making good quality sculpted Melty Blood characters, Alter finally took the helm and produced another winning figurine by producing Acruied.
Despite the ‘weird’ non-generic pose, I’ve been drawn to the expression and feel that the pose brings about, despite having no definite meaning to the pose. I’d think of her as ’smugly about to attack’ pose.
The preshading is done perfectly, and accentuates on the otherwise simple details of the figurine.
Since the clothing is simple, and has no details to show the prowess of the sculptor, The hair and the general face structure is what makes or breaks this figurine. Of course, they’ve done a wonderful job at portraying the innocent yet cold face of Arcuied, and every detail is so spot on. The shading done on the hair’s very good too.

XD Overall I’m very satisfied at how Alter make it, with Arcuied being my favourite Type-Moon character. <3 The second being Len (OMG SENTI LIKES LOLIS TOO. NOT.) I hope they'll produce a Blood Heat ver. of her next. (No lesser than a very cool blood-designed base)

i would say the figure is well made. i wonder why there are so many failure melty blood figurines. i dont really like sol international’s work. how about you?

Neither to I; their PVC surface is gritty, and despite ‘dynamic’ poses, their proportion and look is kinda off, and they have a steep price for that kind of quality, so they don’t get my money for their products.
