1/144 Gundam Astraea
Been ages since a post, much less a gunpla review.
If anyone remembered this, it was actually taken apart to be remade into the following that you see here.
Handpainted mostly, with some of the parts sprayed by Tamiya spraycans. Used Tamiya Dirty Yellow for the ‘grey’ parts, Tamiya gold for the GN blade, and Gundam Seed Series water slide decals all over.
The parts were taken from Dengeki Hobby Astraea conversion parts for 1/144 HG Exia. I painted the red scheme since the normal gundam colors are boring. I edited the red version color scheme to suit my tastes as well.
I like how the gradient of the blades turn out using spray cans only.
In any case, it’s only days to Bonkurasu’s 1st Year Anniversary. There’ll be a special theme photoshoot going on especially for this day, so be prepared!
