The Bonkurasu Brigade

Spring cleaning during Chinese New Year always make me review my backlog of gunpla. Hence I’m making a list on what I might be doing for this year.

1) MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam
-Going to make it OOB (out of box), but will be fully spraycan works and surfacer, with a few joint mods done on the armor shards to improve its posability.
-Possibility of starting soon : Low; reason being the water slides for the markings are not out yet, So chances I’ll start it later.

2) MG Zeta Gundam ver 2.0
- Another OOB kit, but doubt I’m going to use surfacer and spray paint for this one. It’ll depend though.
-Possibility of starting soon : Normal; But that’s going to wait until I find all the parts first. XD

3) MG Nemo + HG 1/100 Exia Mod
- Since my MG Nemo’s shield attachment was given to Gundam MK-II, I’m going to use some of the parts from MG Nemo to mod 1/100 Exia.
-Possibility of starting soon : Very Low; Reasons being low budget and lack of drive to finish up mods.

4) ‘MG’ Musha Gundam SEN. ver
-Previous mod project done using MG Speigel frame, 1/100 Blitz, 1/144 Gaza-C and 1/100 Heavyarms Custom
-Possibility of continuing soon : Normal; since locating more parts used for kitbashing while spring cleaning will give me more drive to finish up the kit.

5) MG Crossbone Gundam
- Fixed less than 10%, maybe it’s about time I should continue on it….
-Possibility of continuing soon : Low; since I didn’t really feel like fixing it up anytime soon. The only thing that might make me continue would be a modification kitbash idea.

6) MG RX-78-2 Gundam ver. OYW (char’s Custom)
- I still have some Char’s water slide decals, so painting it red might be a good idea after all.
-Possibility of starting soon : Normal ; since my MG Zaku II ver 2.0 Char’s Custom is completed, might as well start with this to pose together. And I like Char anyway.

The abovementioned kits are backlogs, which I’ve already bought.

The following kits are those that I’m tempted to get.

1) HG 1/144 Gundam 00 Series:
- GN-Arms : a Dendrobium-like attachment for the Exia, which looks great.
- Gundam Thrones series : I like all 3 Gundams, and use it as a diorama setting. =D

2) HG 1/144 Nu Gundam
-Since I still have leftover decals from MG Hi-Nu, might as well. The proportions look better than the MG counterpart too. I hope that they got include the funnels, otherwise it wouldn’t justify the price. Also, with Nu’s release, it means that Sazabi’s HGUC treatment is just around the corner; another reason to buy the decal set for it.
