This morning marked the end of a great sequel to a great series, Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Partings are sour. T_T

However, in this last episode.. SHAFT goes all out. To the point that they packed this episode with plenty of LOL/ZOMGWIN/EPICSHAFT moments (At the very least, for me).

While lurking in several corners of the internet over the past week, I came across this handy plugin for Firefox (and Thunderbird), Rikaichan . While popup browser dictionary/translators are nothing new, I was attracted to Rikaichan’s neat popup layout :-

Now, this is really helpful, especially when I need to figure out how to read kanji (It also makes lyrics romanization a whole lot faster :3)

Also wonderful is its ability to look for meanings of phrases, as opposed to single-character translation. Oh, and in addition to Japanese it supports Russian and German too, but I don’t have much use for those at the moment ^^;

(And we’re another step closer to reading moonspeak! lol.)

The new scans from HobbyJapan and Dengeki Hobby made me tear my hair since they’ve finally released kits that I really like.

But for now, let’s look at the new MSV for Kyrios.

Kyrios looks like a Bst(booster) version of Kyrios, and the plane mode looks mighty sweet. No doubt this will be a space equipment, considering the amount of ship-class type boosters it has. The railgun rifle looks nice, too. A pity they omitted Kyrios’ shield for this design. My wish is for it to have some sort of sensor on the left side of the shoulder, or a missile pack.

Okay, enough with design analysis, let’s go on to the gunpla!

Due for release July 10, P4 is supposedly a sequel to Persona 3. They upped the production quality of the cutscenes, the maps look more detailed and everything looks slicker.

The WIP MG Hi-Nu is not mine, it belongs to WonderExcellence

Well, for now everything is tentative, but the date is more or less set. The first lesson will be on the 12th of April, venue will be SMU. Time will be in the afternoon, roughly 3pm. I’ll be touching on cutting parts and sanding. Things that will be covered as more lessons go by are :

-Tools introduction
-Proper cutting of parts
-Methods of sanding

-Paint introduction
-Basic Handbrushing
-How to paint gunpla eyes
-Simple modifications

–>Text in Italics will be covered in the first lesson.

Craft knife and cutter will be supplied. You’ll have to bring your own sandpaper and Gundam kit. Sunshine Plaza has hobby shops that sell grit 320# and 600#; get those. I will be supplying grit 1000# for buffing of surface of the plastic.
