The Bonkurasu Brigade

This morning marked the end of a great sequel to a great series, Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Partings are sour. T_T

However, in this last episode.. SHAFT goes all out. To the point that they packed this episode with plenty of LOL/ZOMGWIN/EPICSHAFT moments (At the very least, for me).

And ahead with the fangirling!

Firstly, we are treated to the usual OP sequence, this time, done in color. It was all very good and the lighting/shadow effects were impressive, but there was just one scene I felt that if left in monochrome, would have a greater impact…

Because Kafuka just needs that black/white contrast and the dark aura around her to bring out this sequence, IMO.

And here comes the lul-attack one: The miracle of the difference in stature.

It is a very huge difference indeed XD

See, being short has its advantages! :3

The second most attention grabbing scene has to be the one where they were looking for a suitable voice for Meru-chan. In the manga, this chapter had Miku in it.

And SHAFT delivers! With a whole lot more focus on Miku (The manga had her standing in the background)

Miku’s first anime appearance in which she actually has lines!

However, she isn’t voiced by Miku herself, but by Fujita Saki, the seiyuu who provided her voice samples to create Miku’s synthesized voice.

And she is credited :D
