Reuse
Ok. I think this looks a bit out of place here.

This is a picture of 3 pole holders outside my window. It is also one of the breeding areas for mosquitoes if left uncovered. It was during one rainy day that I got fed up over the rustling of the plastic bag and clothes peg combination my mother used. I turned to the floor of the toilet entrance..
..and I see the empty cans of spray paints there. Then I suddenly got an idea, I took off the cap of the spray can and tried fitting it to the pole holder. A perfect fit, snug and secure too. Ok not really some big discovery but just a tip to share.
Looking around in my room I spotted another case of reuse. They are there for quite sometime already that I’ve almost forgotten about them.

The 2 DIY display cases that are always on the shelf above my PC area. The first one is originally a cake box, those from Four Leaves and Prima Deli. I think my mum gave me the idea. Basically just clean the cake throughly then cut some styroform strips as steps. Simple and pretty presentable, also stackable.
The second one is made from a small glass fish tank. My father never got to use it so it was given to me. Same as the cake box, the only thing to do is the styroform steps. But for this one I’ve yet to make a proper lid for it. Thinking of making one out of an OHP tranparency.
Anyone else have any interesting reuse examples to share?
