00V: Gundam 00 ‘7 Swords’ MSV part 2

As the scans for the issue of Hobby Japan is out, here is the following page with more information on the Seven Sword equipment.

Starting from top left, clockwise:

GN Buster Sword II lineart
Top, keep state. Middle, GN Shield mode. Bottom, GN Sword mode

GN Sword II Short
Mounted on the left of the waist. Developed as a projectile weapon to replace the GN Beam Dagger which Setsuna often used when piloting Exia. The tip part of the sword is attached to a wire and can be shot out and retracted as many times perused.

    Thoughts:
    Although the amount is reduced (from 2 beam daggers to 1 GN sword), the efficiency would be higher; as previously said on the earlier article about GN Buster Sword II, non-beam swords/melee weapons are more effective at nullifying and destroying Mobile Suits with/without a GN-Field.

GN Beam Saber
Mounted at the back of the waist. The exact equipment that is used officially by its predecessor Gundams.

    Thoughts:
    The beam sabers are used as in similarity flair as Lockon’s Gundam Dynames, a back-up type. Alternatively, it could be used as a typical close-range melee weapon, but only when the opponent’s Mobile Suit is not heavily fortified with a strong GN-Field.

GN Sword II Long
Mounted on the right of the waist. Compared to the current adopted GN Sword II, it has an enhanced rifle mode. But it has a decreased rapid fire capability and increased particle consumption. Its equipped in the premise of the complete operational Twin Drive System, and also it is the only weapon designed for long range battle in the Seven Swords.

    Thoughts:
    Can be used like a sniping rifle, but obviously incomparable in range to be compared to Dynames or Cherudim. Also functions like a typical beam rifle to 00.

GN Katar
Medium sized swords mounted on the add-on parts at both knees. A type of heat sword that has not be adopted by any Gundam so far. The cutting edges are made of a material developed from those that are used in GN condensers, as the GN particles change to heat, the heat is transferred to whatever is in contact at the moment. With this feature in theory, it is possible to attack at high temperatures that cannot be endured by the material of the GN Katar. Still in the prototype stage.

    Thoughts:
    Perhaps the most effective in 1-to-1 Mobile Suit combat, compared to the bulkier and slower GN Buster Sword II. Though not as powerful, but the ease of wielding the weapon makes up for it. As said before, the GN Buster Sword II is made for Battleships or Mobile Armor class units.

    @Izzat
    Opinions can differ; for this case, I don’t have any strong opinions or preferences to the original equipment or this MSV. Both look okay to me.

    00(not 00/7s)seems to unequppied… no real equipments that can be used like exia… they havent spent enough time on 00 than exia.. to me exia looks better n might function better too but no twin drive…

    Overall, 00 with its standard equipment, is just like Exia without its 7 Swords armament. The only thing is, the ‘beam rifles’ have longer range, and double up as GN blades as well.

    In terms of specifications, 00’s current GN Blades were better than Exia’s main GN Blade.

    @rashdi

    If you find such a kit, that is.

    If not, just go get it yourself when Bandai announces a release of the kit.

    if this does come out right. in terms on weight wise with the comination of 0 raiser the big gn sword would have no problem. but without 0 raiser the sword would make 00 side heavy with the fact it can still hold it will be somewat difficult.

    But Dengeki really did make a model out of the design and it stands.

    Here is one made by a modeller:
