Master Grade 1/100 Sinaju : Bandai’s next hyped model kit?

No longer a dream for those who’ve built their MG Unicorn Gundam and dying to put it on a battle pose with Sinaju.
After MG RX-78-2 Gundam version 2.0, the other MG kits felt lacklustre, even MG Infinite Justice. Bandai has to admit that the Gundam SEED generation is over, and that UC fans still reign over most of the gunpla line.
With that, extensive previews and information were released, and most recently onto the current issue of Dengeki Hobby.

The proportions look way better than the scratchbuilt modifications shown previously on other issues of the past hobby books. The gold/yellow parts are way too thin too be counted as proper ‘parts’ to a kit, though knowing Bandai, they are just way too lazy to create another sprue for it. I probably need to mask and spray the parts gold.

As shown in the recent Hobby Expo, the MG Sinaju can be equipped with dual-wield beam tomahawk sabers (wow, quite a mouth full, but that’s exactly what it is), and the shield can be used as a melee weapon as well when the beam tomahawks flip out.

The Beam Sniper Rifle, however, looks like it needs add on parts, rather than a pull out motion for the biosensor on the beam rifle. Also, the additional stock doesn’t seem retractable, either. Probably part swapping, I guess.
The size of the Sinaju is comparable to the MG Unicorn Gundam. In fact, it’s actually bigger than the Unicorn, even in Destroy mode! The movable and adjustable backpack verniers and leg thrusters added to the ‘increased’ mobility of the Mobile Suit.
