00 matters: GN-X missing link + GN Sefer connectivity

GN-XII Cannon and GN-XII Sword (Image from SRW Hotnews)
The design of the standard form of GN-XII was released not long ago if I’m not wrong. And now in a recent issue of Gundam Ace comes the design of 2 variations of GN-XII. Cannon and Sword, 2 forms probably derived from Throne Eins and Throne Zwei.
The GN-XII Cannon has a specialized head module featuring a targeting camera in the center and 4 normal camera sensors around it. It is possible to mount another cannon at its other shoulder to achieve a double cannon mode like Astraea. The GN-XII Sword is equipped with the GN Buster Sword, that which is used in development of 00 Seven Swords’ GN Buster Sword II.
I guess it should be pretty much known by now that Dengeki Hobby Magazine January’09 and February’09 issues will be bundled with Gundam Rasiel and GN Sefer kits respectively. The January issue should be in local stores now or very soon. I’ll let the following pictures do the talking, instead of blasting through lengthy explanations.
- a Rasiel kit review
- Dengeki Hobby 10th Anniversary page
- Dengeki Hobby Magazine January issue page
(check out the selected page scans on modding the FG Rasiel)
What amazed me is the “connectivity” of the GN Sefer kit:

Forgot where I found this pic
A pretty low quality picture but from there you can see that multiple Sefer kits can combine together to form a larger kit. Maybe you can make something of GN Arms’ size for the Rasiel kit! The Sefer can also combine with the 5 Gundams from season 1, though that is not officially part of the storyline as said in the magazine. By itself the Sefer kit can be made to a form that looks like a robot/drone form.

In the January DHM issue, the connectivity of GN Sefer is displayed again this time with the GN Arms and Gundam Throne units.
Wow, the GN Sefer sure is a “sociable” unit.
