HG 1/144 O Raiser, 840yen, January’09 release

The HG 1/144 scale series is not forgotten! 00 Gundam’s support unit O Raiser is coming as a HG 1/144 scale kit, it’s an individual kit and it comes with the missing shield parts and GN Blade connector part. Now I wonder will Bandai release a 00(Transarm colors) and O Raiser bundle set that comes with some custom decals?


HG 1/144 GN Archer, 840yen, January’09 release

Next up is another support unit, this time its for Arios. Currently its still shrouded in mystery. The picture shows that it attaches at the back of Arios’ flight mode. GN Archer seems to be pronouced as ‘Gunarcher’. Will it also combine in MS mode? Perhaps becoming something like the Kyrios MSV?

Got me thinking. Dynames got its own GN-Arms, will Cherudim get something?

Looks like Bandai left a surprise in the recently released 1/100 00 Gundam. The chest area of the kit comes with a space that fits the LED module snugly and even has an opening for switch access! The eyes, side GN condensers and the rear head sensor are also made of clear plastic. But extra work is needed to bring the light from the body to the head, you need to switch the ball joint for the neck to a transparent type.

The full marking version of the coming MG Sinanju was revealed in Miyazawa Mokei Sale Fall 2008 event. Frankly speaking, I’m used to seeing Sinanju clean with no markings. Some of the markings look decent but the placement of those “10S” markings kind of breaks the ‘curved’ design to me.

The gimmicks: cockpit hatch open, leg and wing binder action (This and next 2 images from Toysdaily)

The weapons: The beam rifle mounts onto the back, the many ways to play with the beam swords and shield

The decals: A gold foil sticker sheet, a rub-on marking sheet and a water-slide decal sheet(?). Note that a Gundam Unicorn Destroy Mode V-fin decal will be included, its near the bottom edge of the blue sheet. The bazooka announcement is at the lower right corner.

Another thing to note is that a bazooka for MG Sinanju is coming with the special edition of Gundam UC novel book 8 (coming April’09).

One more tidbit from the decal page, Banshee is left on Earth as it is being tested in gravity environment. It is recovered by Martha Vist of the Vist Foundation. The pilot of Unicorn Gundam Unit 02 Banshee is to be Marida Kruz/Puru Twelve who last piloted the large green MS Kshatriya.
