Just yesterday, “May’n Act” tour which started off at Osaka, followed by Nagoya and lastly, 2 days at Tokyo. She also announced the official opening of the May’n FanClub(部) !!! More details are in the link here, which streams a video of her announcement. Hopefully I can get it translated as fast as possible.

Our second anniversary! Its here!

And it had to fall on one of the busier days of the Lunar New Year. Meh.

We’ll be celebrating this occasion, all right, and in the form of more randomness, like how this blog usually is (Though we look like a Perfume blog now, and I don’t deny it. WE ARE A PERFUME BLOG! *bonked 8D*). Ah, and as I’ve tried to say (but failed because of my ever digressing writing), we’ll be celebrating on a later date, on a day which wont be punctuated by endless visits to relatives who try to enquire about every single nook of your lifestyle like psuedo-paparazzi.

I hate reunion dinners.

In any case, this marks TWO years since the day our conquest (Of? Of nothing at all, or probably, probably the internets! Or not…?) began, January 27th. May this day be engraved in our hearts as a solemn acknowledgement of the vile effects sugar has on our sanity, and also in celebration of bad humour, boke and tsukkomi.

Today’s the eve of the Lunar New Year.

Tomorrow’s the start of the new year for Chinese all over the world.

Here’s Bonkurasu wishing all Chinese readers a Happy Lunar New Year!

Yes, Singapore marks the Lunar New Year as a public holiday, since 70% of the population in this country are Chinese.

Albeit late, but here’s the PV for her 1st song in May’n’s mini-album, May’n☆Space.

Certainly a leap away from her Macross Frontier image, but it’s undoubtedly still her. Kanno Yoko’s the lyricist only for this song in the album (the other one being Lion -May’n ver.-)

To be honest, I hope May’n will have a better time producing songs alongside Kanno Yoko and Kajiura Yuki. It fits her strong vocals better.

On another note, there was a TBS broadcast about Animelo 2008, and they showed snippets of the various guests’ performance, one of which includes May’n too.

Not as good as AFA08’s, since she only sang 2 songs. Yes I’m biased.

May’n’s mini album, May’n☆Street, is out in Japanese stores since 21st January. You can order them via online stores such as CDJapan and amazon.jp too.
