He is furious!!

Just eleven days ago the second chapter of the BB Senshi Sangokuden manga ended and in the same issue of Kero Kero Ace the third chapter is announced. As the second chapter ends, the Three Kingdoms are set up. With the unknown fate of Sousou and Ryuubi, the new chapter focuses on a new main character.

Have been following the Sangokuden manga on Kero Kero Ace since it started in December 2007. Well, actually I’m quite the SD Musha Gundam fan, collecting the kits since primary school and has been following their mangas since I chanced upon Comic Bom Bom in the late 90s.

Ok enough of talk, first up the preview:

The first 2 chapters are each handled by different manga artists, the first chapter Fuuun Gouketsu Hen is drawn by Koichi Tokita (famous for Gundam manga adaptations, side stories etc), the second chapter Eiyuu Gekitotsu Hen is by Kentarou Yano (relatively unknown to me, his works). Detailed info in the wiki article.

The coming third chapter Senjin Kettou Hen is done by Naoto Tsushima (past works include Goemon, Bistro Recipe, Battle Commander, Card Builder Senshi, Getter Robo Hien etc.) He has actually been drawing for a column Sangokushi History Museum in Kero Kero Ace before.

As revealed the new main character of the chapter is Bachou Blue Destiny who is based upon Ma Chao of the Chinese text. He has deep hatred for Cao Cao as his father and two brothers died in battle due to Cao Cao’s plot. He led an uprising against Cao Cao for revenge but was defeated. He went to hiding and later convinced and joins Liu Bei. Thats the story for Ma Chao, not sure how close the BB Senshi version will follow. But for sure Bachou is joining the Shou Troops forming the Five Tiger Generals with Kan-u, Chouhi, Chou-un and Kochu.

Well, I’m pretty excited to see how things will develop.
