Plastic Smile is yet another song from previously that never got a chance to be performed, especially during their GAME LIVE TOUR. At least this time, it was performed at a more than just decent live house. In any case, although Plastic Smile wasn’t one of favourite songs from their GAME album, I found that I was better at appreciating the song after watching their performance of it at Budoukan.

5 love the world

One of my favourite songs from my ‘love the world’ single, or even amongst the songs that they released in 2008. I could see that they are beginning to get weary from dancing around too much from not only the previous songs, but from their previous day’s performance, too. Their perspiration starts to get obvious from this song onwards until their costume change. But it was still nothing short of perfect, and the full dance could be viewed, a problem that most of their full versions of this song performance were marred by bad camera angles. +1 to this particular performance.

Revolving stage setting; what’s there not to like? Despite the revolving stage, the girls maintained their level of performance with another of my favourite songs of 2008. The lights gave them a very soft/warm glow, but with perspiration trickling down from their necks and sweat making their hair to stick to their faces, it wasn’t portrayed like how they intended fully. But nevertheless, the revolving stage effect got props from me, giving ‘macaroni’ a new dimension to its dance routine.

Here’s a brief translation of the conversation they had with the audience.

(Audience continues to cheer excessively)
A: Can you give me a moment (to have a chance to speak)?
A: I see many with those T-shirts (PTA fanclub-only shirts)
K: Most of them were wearing orange T-shirts, aren’t they?
A: Many…. in any case, I found one wearing a-chan’s costume from Chocolate Disco
K: Where??
N: No way!
A: Yeah…
K: I Saw it!
N: Wherewherewhere?
K: Ahh~! Cuteee!
A:Yup… and nearby is one wearing orange shirt too *Waaaai* (waves at the couple)
N: Could the person next to you be your boyfriend? (looks at the girl’s expression)

N: You gotta be kidding… eeeh…..
K: It’s fine, no really. (We) disregard that, since it is for your happiness after all.
N: That’s sweet.
A: Go ahead and express more (your love).
N: Haha! Unnn (nods and emulates the audience)
A: You have chosen to to where you wish to be by your own will, everyone.
N: It’s true!
K: People nearby, please raise your hands! (refers to couples)
A: (When you do find one of) Your type, it’s your own choice to be angry or not (during the span of relationship squabbles).
N: Ahahahaha!
A: Seriously. Your own will.
N: When I look around (the audience), the amount of couples around are sure great~~
A: Really? No way!
N: Er, they may look like couples perhaps, ah yes, look over there (points). Look closely at those 2 over there.
K: Ah! Yeah they do. Are the two of you couples? (Guy nods)
A+N: AAAHHH EHHHHH.
A: The girl was looking and nodding like this for a moment there (refer to picture below)

A: Damn cute!!!
K: Yeah I agree!!
A: 萌え。萌ーえ。
K: Singles are fine too. Not an issue there.
A: Singles can go like “Singles Banzai” or something.

K: Banzai.
N: BANZAI!
A: BANZAI!
N: Hold on, aren’t there way too many out there (in the audience)?
K: The guys were raising their hands with gusto.
N: It’s now their turn.
A: Put a mark on it. (Some pun)
N: Mark?

A: It’s really near, looking from here (speaking about the distance with the audience)
K: I can clearly see faces.
N: Even those people on the second floor at the back, they still feel kind of close.
A: It’s because we are right smack in the centre, festival-like thingy.
N: Whoa I can see (everyone from here)!!
A: Awesomeeeeee~
K: Awesome~
A: The orange T-shirts are sure large in numbers.
N: It’s from the PTA fanclub Limited T-shirts, the people who ordered it.
A: Yes.
A: The people nearest towards the stage are considered the ‘PTA kind’ in a manner of speaking.
N: Lucky you! For those who are wearing the orange shirts.
A: But pink’s cute too. And there’s one wearing a floral print pink one piece. Really cute.
N: Looks like it came out from some love drama serial.
A: *Laughs*
N: Flirtyyy.
A: Something like a pink top with a white layer underneath, that sort of skirt.
A: With some frilly boots to go along etc etc (can’t really make out what she says). But it’s cute.
A: Also also, from what I spotted from yesterday(’s concert), I found several V-necks.
K: Some over there too. *points*
N: I find guys who wear V-necks (collared shirts with their collars raised) cool.

A: (makes some one-line pun)
A: Yeah, V-necks are nice.
K: Please raise your hands.
A: Thank you.
K: Don’t be that shy about it.
A: Really self-conscious.
N: Oh yes, about time for the next song.
