Figurines tempt me yet again
While I have managed to stop my figurine-buying temptations thus far, Max Factory, Alter and Figma line of figurines tempt me yet again, not to mention they will release pretty soon, too.

1/8 Yoko by Alter, June 2009 release
The very figure than made me convulsed (in a good way) late last year during some figurine exhibition fair in Japan. The sculpt is incredible beyond expression, and nicely produced into a PVC figure.

1/8 Yoko by Max Factory, September 2009 release
Another Yoko figurine, but at least this one isn’t going to be released anytime soon; there’s a good 3 months away… but I bet it’ll be over in a flash. Also, this renderation of Yoko reminds me of the Caucasian/mixed blood Yoko cosplayers I see over the Net.
[EDIT] I just remembered what I didn’t like about the figurine; it’s the pose. With only one leg supporting her entire body, she’ll surely lean over and warp.
Now, I don’t collect Figma figures ( I had to sell away my witch Yuki Nagato due to lack of funds =’( ), But the following release is too good to ignore.

1/8 Katsurugi Meiya by Figma, July 2009 release
Also another upcoming one that’s just around the corner… ARGH STOP TEMPTING MY WALLET ALREADY.
OTL
(Pictures belong to Hobbysearch for first Yoko picture and amiami for the rest )

Heh. Tempting eh. I find the Alter Yoko better than Max Factory.
The water is just nice, time to jump in and sink…
