Quick update on the gunpla and chogokin from this month, but first up, is the Chogokin segment.

Yes. The above is a Transformable Chogokin variant of Mazinger Z with God Scrander, transformable into Big Bang Punch mode. I was half-expecting a Chogokin version when Bandai announced a kit version to be out sometime in August. Now that the pictures hold truth to my expectations, well done.

16cm tall. Late October release, 9,240 Yen (inclusive of tax).

The above is a totally OOB build of the MG Exia, non-painted, no stickers, no markers to outline the panel lines. It’s purely fixed up and photographed. Even with that, the kit looks great from the pictures. The MG line is getting more and more newbie-friendly, not to mention it’ll make any first time kit builder beaming with joy.

While the October issue of Hobby Japan will be bundled with the XN-raiser, it is not only limited for 00-raiser’s usage. The other 4 Gundams can use it too, but what amazed me is that it is also compatible with all the other MSs as well! Ume will be pleased about mounting the XN-raiser on Susano-wo. 8D
