The Bonkurasu Brigade

Some folks at Ayako linked this interesting article to me.
Seems that the folks at 2ch have been doing this saimoe seiyuu for the past 6 years.
Without further ado, here are the results for the top… 10.

10. Kawasumi Ayako. This grand dame is 33 this year. She has that versatile voice that on one hand , is Saber from Fate stay/night and on the other spectrum Chizuru from Kanokon.

09. Kobayashi Sanae. Notable roles are Allen Walker from D.Grayman and Reika from Aquarion. I can’t say I really like her voice but, her Allen Walker role was solid. It brought the character fully.

08. Kugimiya Rie. くぎゅうううううううう The tsundere moe queen of the anime seiyuu world. Notable roles are Shana, Shakugan no Shana. Louise, Zero no Tsukaima. She claims for every character she does, she tries to use a different voice for that character. She looks cute in the photos too. Her voice has that trademark shrillness for most of the roles she does. But, She is versatile, She can do voices of young males . EG Alphonse Eldric, Full metal alchemist. Only thing I think she can’t do well is sing. But I love hearing her sing anyway.

07. Chiba Saeko. Who says that being married equates to losing fans? Sae-chan proves that being married doesn’t mean you lose fan appeal. Notable roles she had done are… Dokuro-chan from bokusatsu tenshi Dokuro-chan, Natsuki from the Mai Hime series. Very versatile .

06. Sanpei Yuuko. Well I really liked her as Renton from Eureka7 but no one wants to give her good roles, but hey, she had recently landed a role in Idolmaster as a trap. Her best roles seems to be young males. But yea she is cute.

05. Nonaka Ai. Ai-chan is moe~ Voice moe Visuals moe. Roles she have done includes Fuuko from clannad, imo-chan from Sorakakeru shojyo.

04. Hirohashi Ryou. Ryou-chan is in my opinion one of the better seiyuus to play a role of Yandere. Roles include Kyou from Clannad and the best one to hear her yandereness(if there is such a word is )the series of Yandere cds by edge records. She used to have an alfro that was horrible. at least she looks so much better now.

Now , Number 03. Shiina Hekiru. Notable roles are Hikaru from Rayearth. I’m not really sure how she sounds but based on her looks well. She definitely deserves to be in Number 03 place just based on her looks.

At Number 02 place, We have Yukari Tamura!. Yukarin , I swear grows younger and younger every year on each of her album covers. She is part of the “ever-17″ club . And with her distinct saccharine sweet voice. She is one of the more notable Seiyuus out there. Noteable roles are Nanoha from the Mahou Shojyo Lyrical Nanoha series, Sakura from Da capo (TV).

Number 01 goes to the other “Ever 17″ Group member, The ever-young, ever-hardworking and ever-moe Horie Yui! Hocchan always have good roles that she can really show her roles well. Notable ones are Minori from Toradora , Ayu from Kanon, Youko from Inugami. She has always gotten rather good roles.

Last but not least a the interesting fact about the top 10.
7 out of the 10 are over 30 years of age.
There are more love for mature seiyuus that look younger then they look.
