ANIME HOUSE PROJECT ~Shinkyoku Selection vol.1~
Will be awesome. (site here: http://animehouse.jp/)

Cover art by mota, probably most well known for his work in gelatin and IOSYS’s touhou CDs.
Rearranges of anison grew old pretty quick for me, especially with the huge selection of noi- I mean, music of Sharpnel and Exit Trance. There were covers, remixes, nois-(Nevermind), some good, some bad, some very industrial music.
But here comes the Anime House Project, bringing the delightful bleepy tunes of electropop and the signature bass beats of, well, house, to a stellar lineup of famous anime theme songs, both old and new. And when I say it is delightfully bleepy, it is.
The arranges are primarily done by IOSYS, and the vocal lineup is as follows:-
01. 「Don’t say “lazy”」
Arrange:ARM(IOSYS)/Vo:anporin
02. 「Sora iro Days」
Arrange:Dr.ARM(Albatrosicks)/ Vo:miko+Resurrection(Albatrosicks)
03. 「Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis」/
Arrange:SOUND HOLIC / Vo:A~YA
04. 「Rinbu-revolution」
Arrange:D.watt(IOSYS)/ Vo:Meguro Yuuko
05. 「Blue Water」
Arrange:fishtone(TTB studio)/ Vo:Beatmario(COOL&CREATE)
06. 「Believe」
Arrange:REDALiCE(ALiCE’S EMOTiON)/ Vo:Nomiya Asami
07. 「ETERNAL BLAZE」
Arrange:ARM(IOSYS)Vo:Asana(IOSYS)
08. 「Yume ha Owaranai~Kobore ochiru toki no Shizuku」
Arrange:Tetsushi(Red Hot House)/ Vo:anporin
09. 「Sousei no Aquarion」
Arrange:Boid(IOSYS)/ Vo:ichigo(Kishida Kyodan&The Akeboshi Rockets)
10. 「Butter-Fly」
Arrange:AVSS / Vo:nyanyannya(Team.nekokan)
11. 「Yume wo Shinjite」
Arrange:D.watt(IOSYS)/ Vo:witch(Sound CYCLONE)
12. 「Tori no Uta」
Arrange:ARM(IOSYS)/ Vo:Katagiri Rekka
I’m especially looking forward to Butter-fly, because nyanyannya of Team Nekokan (of Airman ga Taosenai fame) is on vocals, and the arrange just sounds great. I’m looking forward to Sora Iro Days too, but thats just because I’m an Albatrosicks fan. Also, Beatmario puts his vocal capabilities to good use with his cover of the Nadia theme song.
However, some classics are just too awesome, that even talent can’t overtake. ARM’s arrange of Tori no Uta with Katagiri Rekka (Why or Why Not, Yumemiru tame ni) is rather average, but that’s just my first impression. Eternal Blaze is meh, imo, but is nevertheless an interesting take.
Preview clips can be sampled on their main site. And dear god, I want that image on the site as my wallpaper.
Something to look forward to :> As usual, preorders are on Amazon.jp, and the album releases on the 26th of August.
