Doujin or Official? New designs for Sangokuden
Two new designs for Sangokuden has surfaced a few days ago…
But are they real or not?
Ok straight to the pics (and ramblings :P):
Goutaitei Sonken Gundam & Korinpaku
(轟大帝孫権ガンダム & 虎隣魄)
Ok the words say Sonken(孫権, GP03-son) but the design shows Sonken(孫堅, GP01-father).
Some error on similar names?
Anyway in the manga version Sonken and Sonsaku are dead and Gou is left in the hands of young Sonken.
This form could probably be the form assumed by Sonken when he awakens to Kogyou.
If this design is official then Ryuubi and Sonken both got new designs for their awakened forms.
Poor Sousou.
Or there is more to Sousou?
Ryuubi has the Ryuukihou, Sonken has Korinpaku and Sousou is missing his phoenix animal mecha.
Senjin Gattai Shuu Gundam
(戦神合体 蚩尤ガンダム)
A combiner!
Made up of the sons and grandson of Shiba-I and Shuu with Ankoku Gyokuji.
Hmm, so the sons of Shiba-I – Shiba Shou(司馬 昭) and Shiba Shi(司馬 師), could be played by Ξ Gundam and Penalope Gundam and the grandson Shiba En(司馬 炎) by Char’s Zaku II. And the Neue Ziel silhouette we’ve been seeing in the promo clips is unveiled to be Shuu(蚩尤).
Refering to the wiki article, Shuu is not a RoTK character but is a war deity in Chinese mythology.
And Ankoku Gyokuji Psycho Gundam…
The Ankoku Gyokuji are the black Gyokuji(that dragon head imperial seal) that the Giga Three Excellencies have been seen using in the manga version.
The Shiba family, a war deity and a twisted magical item?
The final boss?

I’m betting these are real. As you say, Sonken is still awaiting an upgrade (honestly, his entire kingdom gets too little attention). Also, a while back Hobby Shop Midori did a ‘Which Sangokuden character would you like to see as a kit?’ poll for Bandai. The winner was The O combiner which obviously never got made, but perhaps Bandai saw the demand for such a character and used the idea for the final baddy?

If its real then a launch in December and if Shuu is the final boss then Sangokuden ends this year?
With the Ankoku Gyokuji as Psycho Gundam, I wonder will the original Gyokuji manifest as something (then do a combiner with the 3 kings :P). Kind of reminds me of Dai Koutei and Yami Taitei in Chijou Saikyou Hen.
I doubt it’ll end this year. There surely will be another gaiden variant, using the other AC gundams as characters. They have yet to use them all.

I think what might happen is that Sangokuden will become like the older Sengokuden. So we’ll get closure on this generation before a time skip, possibly starring Ryuubi and co’s sons in adult forms. Though given this is the 3rd year of a Three Kingdoms adaptation, an end would be a nice bit of symbolism. Three years, three chapters, three kingdoms.
Ive search the net for info and not one gave me light if this is true or not (-_-) hope this are real though…
