The Bonkurasu Brigade

Jitsuroku! Utahime-san is a 4-koma series on Mikumix, a fairly new group that created the song/pv LOL -Lots of Laugh-. The update frequencies are irregular, so I’ll keep up with translations every 10~15 strips.

It’s a series focusing on the side of Miku you don’t usually see, and that makes for plenty of humor. I haven’t laughed at 4-koma in a long time, so you can imagine how awesome it is.

Chap. 1 notes: ‘Doushitano?’ is part of the lyrics in Melt, where Miku cuts her fringe short because she wanted to be asked ‘What happened?’.

Chap. 3 notes: Song Miku sings is Koi ha Sensou, or Love is War, of supercell fame.

Chap. 5 notes: Song referenced is Kagamine Rin’s Roshin Yukai, or Meltdown.

Chap. 6 notes: 再生 (saisei) can mean regeneration or playback.

Chap. 12 notes: Song referenced is Hatsune Miku’s Saihate

Chap. 15 notes: Eternal Blizzard is a killer move which originated from Inazuma Eleven. The opponent will die. It is also quoted on BBSes (Like on 2ch, and on 2ch).
