The Bonkurasu Brigade

This Koisuru Vocaloid PV is a chart of two years of Miku loev.

Published just a little late for her birthday, this animated PV (To the music of the classic, Koisuru Vocaloid), is a trip past two colorful years of Vocaloid on Nico Nico Douga.

It is certainly nostalgic to see references to the White Letter PV, Watashi no Jikan and Wanderer, and also amusing to see the newer hits making it in, like Roshin Yukai (Better known as Meltdown to most). and Romeo to Cinderella. All the other vocaloids appear in this video, and fan-created characters also get their screen time (Neru, Haku, etc. ).

The original PVs and songs referenced will be linked after the jump, so if you’re interested, have a look. Enjoy the PV, and if there’s anything I missed out in my list, just comment with the title and I’ll add it :)

1. Hatsune Miku ga todokanai no sa

A song released very close to Miku’s debut, by Meiko (Onecup P), because Amazon didn’t deliver Miku on time D:

2. Ievan Polka

The classic of the classic, and the start of the leek meme. One of the first Miku songs.

3. White Letter

I loved the PV! I used to listen to this every morning on my way to school.

4. Miku Miku ni shite ageru

The. Classic. Need I say more? It got tiring after hearing it every week on the vocaloid rankings though, back then.

5. Electric Angel

Also in Diva.

6. Watashi no Jikan

Another song from early on. Wasn’t really my type of music.

7. Oshiete! Mahou no Lyric

Wasn’t a fan until Yumiko danced it.

8. hatsune Miku e no Kaitou

The start of the Kaito ice cream meme

9. Wanderer

10. Melt

ryo’s big break.

11. Hato

This is in Project Diva.

12. Gekka no Himeuta

Another song in my usual playlist! The melody sticks in your head after a while.

13. Innocence

The instrument Miku uses in the Koisuru Vocaloid PV.

14. Ore no Road Roller da!

A Rin/Ren Classic. Also, remember this game? 8D

15. Frogging Dance

This! I remember this! DD:

16. Clover Club

Another of my favourites, and still part of my regular playlist. This is one hell of a catchy song.

17. Saihate

Another one of those iconic PVs that need no introduction.

18. Stargazer

I know this one better for the amazing animated PV than for the original, so I’ll link both.

19. Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu

Popular for its hayaguchi lyrics, and also its amazing difficulty on Diva. The second link is for the recent animated PV version.

20. Nira

21. Black Rock Shooter.

Supercell. Also, getting an anime. Insane popularity? You could say that.

22. Houkou Onchi

By Agoaniki, recently known for his Double Lariet (by Megurine Luka).

23. Last Night, Good Night

kz with livetune, pv art by redjuice. A winning combo? I liked Strobo Nights and Packaged better though.

24. VOiCE

25. Scene

26. Poppippo

Ya- sai- juice ha, suki ni naru♪
(Note: Sticks in your brain for weeks on end)

27 Marginal

Oster.

28. Roshin Yuukai

Another catchy song by iroha(sasaki), who also made the song Moon, which is in Diva.

29. Romeo to Cinderella

doriko. Currently in my playlist.

30. Analog Kuma no Uta

Fighting against the digital age.

31. *Hello, planet

I cried the first time I heard this. The PV is sad stuff.

32. Musunde hiraite rasetsu to mukuro

Creepy but strangely catchy song. From the composer of THE WORLD END UMBRELLA, which is one of my current favourite songs.

33. Ie no ura de manbou ga shinderu

-

Thats all for now, Ume, out.

I almost wept from the nostalgia.

    Well, okay, I didn’t recognise the more recent references, but still. ;A;

    Sen-chan: Yong tau foo? Long?

TheFuzzy: I didn’t get some of the ones at the end but they were linked in the ‘recommended videos’ section, which helped a lot :D
