Getting down to business, the concert yesterday was superb.

Too bad for those who missed out on it – especially certain cheapskate ones =D

And yes, she wore the same sexy costume, short skirt is short! @ワ@ Luckily she had safety pants.

First thing’s first, merchandise!

The Japanese girl hawking them at the counter was cute, selling various goods like previous live shirts (SOLD OUTTTT zomg), special Mikuni-made bracelets, wrist bands, photo cards, and other various items. It was going for a decent price at 25-30 bucks per shirt, and 10 bucks for the photo cards (set of 5) and wrist band.

Fans were entitled to have an autograph session with Mikuni after the event if they purchase $35 or more worth of merchandise! Needless to say, most of them are more than willing to spend. :D

Also, concert goers were entitled for a pre-signed/signed poster of her latest album when they sign up for anison.org mailing list. Great bang for buck, I must say.

I noticed a few familiar faces who went to AFA’s concerts as well as the one at KL for May’n. There was one guy who bought $150 worth of goods too! @ワ@!

Her setlist was pretty similar as to what she did at Hong Kong

She did covers from her cover album! Awesome XD
I won’t go into detail for each song, but I’ll list out the ones that I’m more familiar with as well as the ones I enjoy better.

輪舞-revolution-
After comparing Rinbu Revolution amongst 3 duets with Masami Okui, this solo cover by Mikuni was great in its own right, with the band giving it a special flair that fits her vocals.

それが、愛でしょう
Awesome ballad from Full Metal Panic – what can I say more?

One of my favourite songs from Full Metal Panic OP, she belted this song perfectly.

I love this cover the best, because I don’t like Psychic Lovers’ vocalist. Mikuni’s version beats it hands down.

Gives a new twist to Maaya’s version, fits her vocals well.

I love the part where she got the audience to sing the first 4 lines of Minami Kaze. And the audience hit it perfectly! She was touched and ’sobbing’ XD Mikuni even High-fived one of her fans. Lucky dude =DD

君がいるから
Another popular song that I have in my playlist, sure invokes some memories. @_@

The crowd heated up, and sang along with her. Heck, the audience were their own performers too!

愛・おぼえていますか
Nice ballad cover, feels like an updated version of the 1980s anime, more so than Megumi Nakajima’s version, sadly.

All of her songs were sung pitch-perfect, the band was awesome, the stage was pretty small compared to AFA’s and the venue was cozy (she practically reached out to high-five one of her fans in the audience @_@!)

The emcee segments were much fun, and also at one point while Mikuni had a fan who finished naming her song list from Full Metal Panic for her.

“You know more than me!” She said. XDD

Robin of SOZO was the interpreter for the night! Kudos to him running all over the place, as well as being the night’s interpreter for Mikuni. It was amusing that the audience started to scream for him too, towards the end of the concert XDXD

All in all, a great live indeed.
