Revoltech stabs a nostalgic vein within me
The recent Wonderfest 2010 had an impressive array of upcoming figurines, with a large portion of new stuff that caught my eye were from the Figma/Revoltech series, such as the EVA 2.0 girls (namely Rei, Asuka and Mari), EVA 02 Beast mode, KOS-MOS, etc. Nendoroid updates like Saber and Mickey Mouse (?!), and a few non-gunpla kits here and there.

But what really surprised me was the Revoltech Yamaguchi VASH THE STAMPEDE and Nicholas D. Wolfwood figurines showcased at the event.
Why?
Because Nicholas D. Wolfwood was the first character I cosplayed 8 years back. And now I’m back in the whole Revoltech shit again.

I’m slowly being sucked into the realm of nendo-shiki-moe
I’ve always been held back on purchasing nendoroids in the past. Actually, even until now, still. I have yet to purchase the Yoko Rittner Nendoroid that was released eons ago.
This time, the other nendoroid that’s making me doki-doki comes in the form of Ryogi Shiki from Kara no Kyokai.
