Back from Japan
I’m home. And aching all over. My arms from swinging lightsticks, my feet from walking non-stop, my back from sleeping on the return flight.
I went to Japan again to enjoy the Silver Week (prrrrrrrrromotions!) and came back after four days with the fatigue of a 10-day journey. This post will highlight the interesting bits of this trip.
After the jump!

So I’m already back from my Japan Trip for more than half a week now. Rushed through several areas with work, taking a breather here and there. Pictures up! Well, some.
In any case, this blog post is about my Perfume Journey. You might say it’s akin to ‘Senti’s Journey to the North’ (reference from Journey to the West folklore) , from Tokyo all the way to Sapporo.
(For those who have went for the tour too, do correct me on some of the details I speak of, since my brain floated off elsewhere as I watched; the euphoria was too much XD)

Back in Hell
Well, I’ve just reached Singapore from my flight, and have a ton of stuff to do, work-wise. The animelo report and the Perfume report will have to wait until I can have a breather.
Sorry to those who are anticipating for it!! x_x I’ve already write down in my little black/white book, point-form. =D
Now, work beckons me for the days ahead. x_x

Anisama 2009 re:bridge experience
My 2nd day in Japan, and feeling so damn tired as I didn’t manage to get any sleep during my flight. Animelo right after the flight was torture to my sleep. Nevertheless, I had my fun, and will continue to do so later when I leave for day 2.

First, I present to you yesterday’s song list (from 2ch thread, sourced by ume)
01 Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis / angela + Ishikawa Chiaki
- The opening song was awesome, belted by 2 anison powerhouses. Love their rendition of an all-time favourite anime song.
02 Spiral / angela
- Atsuko took over, and she was almost bouncing off the virtual walls.
03 Shangri-La / angela
- Towel otagei, anyone? Practically the same as the anison SP at Music Japan, as expected.
04 F.D.D. / Itou Kanako
- No impression. Despite ume constantly singing this song.
05 Tsuisou bo Despair / Itou Kanako
- Still no impression.
Breaking to Otaku-Land!
…for the lack of a better title.
Come this Friday, or otherwise 21st of August, I’ll be flying off to Japan to attend Animelo 2009. And Perfume’s Sapporo Citizens’ Hall Live.

Take a Night Flight! Yes, my flight’s at night, 10+pm. I have my stash of pino still in the fridge too.
Funny, that only up till now that I have a chance to travel overseas to Japan, considering that I’ve been involved with everything anime-related, or in short, Japan pop culture; from the humble beginnings on watching anime on TV back when I was in Primary School, then branched onto Gunpla and anime on VCDs, and liking L`arc~en~Ciel on a surface level. After which everything expanded when I started cosplay, touching a bit on J-rock, doujin, and arcade gaming communities as well. I dabbled on pretty much on many areas.
I’d always be envious on those who can afford to spend thousands on multiple trips to Japan back then, and in some sense, jealous. But as I grew older, I felt the need to travel abroad lesser, because it’s an unwanted expense; I can pretty much get the same thing locally for roughly the same price, except for live events and concerts and fanclub-only events…. you get the drift.
