Hell yeah. This was unexpected for me, because it’s announced so late. There’s only one month to go, can’t wait~
“Nee” is such a cute title, while FAKE IT sounds totally edgy and i’d like to hear a hard techno song!
And tie-ups! Yay!

Perfume will definitely be performing this at Tokyo Dome. In fact, the reason why another single is being released so soon is probably due to Tokyo Dome; they try to give the fans something new(well yeah, there’s the yet-to-be-performed 575 too).

Awaiting another awesome PV and amazing outfits!

Perfume’s Tokyo Dome LIVE merchandise is up for preorders!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s my reaction when I saw Perfume’s asmart link.

Their product designs are superb once again!

*digs wallet deep*

My favourites are the LIVE shirts, pamphlet, parka jacket – I like the black/white design better; and the towel. The strap’s quite nice too.

Any other Perfume fans getting it? hohoho~

Mikuni Shimokawa's special message for her Singapore fans!

And so it’s only in less than 48 hours that Mikuni will perform with her touring live band at Movida! And I believe that aside from her own songs, there might be a chance that she’ll do some cover songs, based on her own cover album. It’ll sound even better, since there’s a live band, and I’m pretty much a sucker for quality for live bands with singers in general. *grin*

AFA X dates!

001

It looks like this year’s AFA will be on the 13th and 14th of November! And this year, the varsity students are spared for the clash in timing, but not those taking O’s, however. The last few days are usually MCQs anyway.

Waited too long for this announcement? Here’s a video recapping AFA 2009’s highlights:

I didn’t do a post before when they announced it to be held in SG in November, because I’ll kinda expect it to be roughly on the same venue/date. However, the change in the days specifically was rather (for the lack of a better word) unexpected.

Many issues that visitors from previous AFA had were the hike in price – many are worried that this year’s tickets might continue to double further. Personally, I don’t think there will be a hike, or even if there is, it won’t be overly high. Unless of course, this year’s guest list and programs are good enough to justify it. AFA08/AFA09 had entrance fees mirroring each event’s quality; in fact, I thought that the entrance fee for AFA08 was rather cheap, at $5/day and $8 for both days.

What I’m still surprised at the amount of responses of people wanting JAM Project in – I sure do hope third’s a charm. I’m sure iron2000 would agree too.

NEWS FLASH: Seiyuu Noto Mamiko and Capsule’s Yasutaka childhood friends??

yn

Both wikipedia as well as a certain local Yasutaka fan (other than ume, lol) were providers for this piece of news. As most bonkurasu readers know, Yasutaka produces songs not only for his own group, capsule, but also for Perfume, MEG, and many more. He also produced the soundtrack for popular drama LIAR GAME.

Most otakus would have heard of Noto Mamiko by now, with her various roles from School Rumble’s Yakumo, Kotomi from Clannad, Amaha from Witchblade, Asagami Fujino from Kara no Kyoukai, and many more.

I know both profiles fairly well, but never took notice of their hometown, nor their birthdates.

They both share not only the day and month, but year, too! D=!

DJ and producer Yasutaka Nakata of capsule is a childhood friend of Noto’s. Both were born and grew up in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, and even share the same birthdate and year.

It is said that they were classmates, and seriously, in a rural place like Kanazawa [EDIT](Okay, maybe not-so-rural as stated by ume), it wouldn’t be surprising to know 2 people who share the same birthdate, much less the same age. In that case, Noto would have known Toshiko as well, since Toshiko and Nakata were classmates in high school.

But then again, neither of the 2 has confirmed this news, nor debunk the rumour.

Now the amusing thing is that, despite their careers in the entertainment industry, they have yet to collaborate in each other’s works. It would be great if Yasutaka could work on an OST of an anime with Noto’s role in it, and/or capsule singing its opening/ending theme song. Probably to safeguard each others’ careers, since anime and mainstream still have barriers to overcome?

Maybe time will tell. =D
