List of yet-released games to play by 2014

games2013

2013 has been a wonderful year for AAA games as well as indie games. For one, major console platforms have recognized indie games to be fairly profitable for them, many of which are both fun and affordable. From now till the beginning of 2014, here’s the list of games I’m looking forward to get my grubby hands on… eventually.

AFA11 – zomgwtfbbq

mkp

I suppose you can already guess what this is going to be about! As you have probably heard, the next Mikupa will be held in Singapore, at the Anime Festival Asia 11, on the quirky date of 11.11.11, Friday night. If the Sapporo concert was anything to go by, we’d be getting the magical glass screen and also an exciting lineup of new songs by popular producers. I do hope they play some old favorites too, though!

One of the things to look forward to is definitely the 39’s, the live band who played for the previous Vocaloid concerts. I really enjoy their live arranges of classic songs, and damn, their skill level is really something to behold! Also, I wonder if we’ll see any music producers being invited, too.

[Event]Kimi ni Todoke: Honki Sugiru! White Day

I’m completely worn out, having flung lightsticks while jumping and singing (screaming?), but that will come later.

I went to the Kimi ni Todoke: Honki Sugiru! (Shitagokoro ari) White Day event today, at Sunshine City, Ikebukuro. I came two hours before the time the stage events were slated to start at, but it was a mistake underestimating Noto-power and Yuukyan-fangirls, because by the time I got there, I was already somewhere seven meters away from the stage. It was enough for me to see the stage though, so I’m grateful!

After standing in the crowd for two hours (And playing with twitter), Tanizawa Tomofumi appeared on stage, for his sound check. He sang one of his original songs, and then he launched into a cover of the first ending song of Kimi ni Todoke (season 1).

NEWS FLASH: Seiyuu Noto Mamiko and Capsule's Yasutaka childhood friends??

yn

Both wikipedia as well as a certain local Yasutaka fan (other than ume, lol) were providers for this piece of news. As most bonkurasu readers know, Yasutaka produces songs not only for his own group, capsule, but also for Perfume, MEG, and many more. He also produced the soundtrack for popular drama LIAR GAME.

Most otakus would have heard of Noto Mamiko by now, with her various roles from School Rumble’s Yakumo, Kotomi from Clannad, Amaha from Witchblade, Asagami Fujino from Kara no Kyoukai, and many more.

I know both profiles fairly well, but never took notice of their hometown, nor their birthdates.

They both share not only the day and month, but year, too! D=!

DJ and producer Yasutaka Nakata of capsule is a childhood friend of Noto’s. Both were born and grew up in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, and even share the same birthdate and year.

It is said that they were classmates, and seriously, in a rural place like Kanazawa [EDIT](Okay, maybe not-so-rural as stated by ume), it wouldn’t be surprising to know 2 people who share the same birthdate, much less the same age. In that case, Noto would have known Toshiko as well, since Toshiko and Nakata were classmates in high school.

But then again, neither of the 2 has confirmed this news, nor debunk the rumour.

Now the amusing thing is that, despite their careers in the entertainment industry, they have yet to collaborate in each other’s works. It would be great if Yasutaka could work on an OST of an anime with Noto’s role in it, and/or capsule singing its opening/ending theme song. Probably to safeguard each others’ careers, since anime and mainstream still have barriers to overcome?

Maybe time will tell. =D

Tokyo TV Anison – Minorin Interview!

header
Click on the header above for the site

I haven’t been doing any posts for minorin love as of late, but I’m making up for the lack of posts with today’s post. :D

Apparently Tokyo TV has released their own site featuring various anime seiyuu as well as song artistes, and this week’s guest interviewee is none other than Minorin~~~ *claps* I should spoil the contents of the interview itself, but it proves to be very entertaining, indeed. Witty questions. 8D You’ll need either Windows Media Player or Winamp to play the stream. Each interview lasts about 30 minutes, and a new one broadcasts every Tuesday morning at 3.15AM.

And next week’s broadcast will be a bumper special, featuring Tetsuya Kakihara , Shimakawa Mikuni and Nakamura Yuuichi aka ume’s otou-san. XD

さらばだ!

Seiyuu funnies

Surfing around seiup and around seiyuu blogs unearths some very interesting news. Some may not be funny and/or interesting to you, but it’s rather…. out of the ordinary?

May’n
maynrilak
Her obsession with rilakkuma has taken new heights – or rather, she’s now pimping it on her blog. Think she’s now a rilakkuma-otaku…. or something like that.

Her blog post’s over here.
